Violations against LGBTIQ+ People in Educational Institutions in Bangladesh, 2023–2026
Between November 2023 and October 2026, we documented 15 incidents in Bangladeshi universities, colleges and student halls in which LGBTIQ+ people, or people accused of same-sex conduct, lost their hall seats, were suspended or expelled, or were handed to police. The report also records 11 organised anti-LGBTIQ+ campaigns on campuses.
